Nimbin MPS provides a number of Community Health services including Aboriginal Health Worker, Allied Health, Community Nursing, and Wound Care Clinic. Bonalbo MPS provides a number of Community Health services including Aboriginal Health Worker, Allied Health, Community Nursing, and Wound Care Clinic. These services are provided both in the community and from the MPS.

The Speech Pathology Department provides services to adults aged over 18 years and children aged 0-17 years who reside in the Clarence Valley.

We provide inpatient and outpatient services for swallowing and communication difficulties including language, speech, voice and fluency.

We accept referrals from individuals, families, carers, case workers, or health professionals, with the client’s consent.

Hours: 8.00am – 4.30pm Monday – Friday

Our sexual assault service provides a 24-hour crisis response team for children, young people and adults who have experienced sexual assault, indecent assault, or attempted sexual assault.

We also provide counselling and forensic medical assessment and care immediately after sexual assault and in the following weeks and months.

We provide information and support for non-offending parents, carers, partners, siblings or family members of children or adults who have been affected by sexual assault.

The School Health Nursing Service provides four year old Health Assessments and School Screening services to all schools in the Clarence Valley. This is a targeted service aimed at providing early assessment and referral for early intervention for at risk children and families.

Our Podiatrists work with clients who have foot and leg disorders to improve their mobility and enhance independence. This is achieved through the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and management of pathological foot problems and associated restrictions in function.
